One of the world leaders in the production of exclusive sports cars, the British company McLaren has presented another novelty – McLaren Speedtail. The price alone – 2.25 million dollars – is evidence that this is not quite an ordinary car. What will the happy owner of this miracle of technology get?
The Speedtail’s first and foremost virtue is, of course, speed. It takes 12.8 seconds to accelerate to 300 km/h, which is almost 4 seconds faster than a McLaren F1 car. It becomes clear when you learn the potential of the hybrid powertrain – 1035 hp. The maximum speed at such power is corresponding – 400 km/h.
