Ecuadorian architects have designed a comfortable microstudio for two people

Ecuadorian architects from Quito have transformed a tiny 27.5 square metre space into a full-fledged home filled with compact, multifunctional furniture. At first glance, the tiny flat can comfortably accommodate two adults. The house is designed to transform seamlessly throughout the day: from bedroom to breakfast nook; from wardrobe to home office; from pantry to kitchen; from living room to dining room; from workplace to yoga area.

The Domestico project aims to create a comfortable and aesthetically pleasing home with thoughtful architectural solutions for living in a small space. To achieve this, the architects divided the interior into two parts: a bright, open-plan multipurpose living space and two floor-to-ceiling built-in units with various household necessities.
